Terms and Conditions

 

 

Price includes: Installation of blinds and removal from site of any existing window coverings that Action Blinds remove from the window.

Estimated Production Times: Roller Blinds 10 to 14 working days - Other products 15-20 working days. - Please enquire.

Installed earlier if possible. This is only an estimation based on nornal delivery times and may extend if fabric or components are temporarily unavailable.

Quotation Prices: Valid for 30 days from the date of quotation. Due to the fluctuating nature of fabric prices, contact us to check prices after this time.

Trading Terms:  Account Customers Strictly 30days. Prompt Payment Appreciated. Accounting fees charged for overdue accounts.

Non Account Customers: Deposit required at time of order, Balance due upon installation

All goods to remain the property of Action Blinds until paid for in full. Sending Action Blinds a deposit or written purchase/work order number states, that the owner/Action Blinds client, is aware of all costs involved and all types and colours of blinds to be supplied as noted on the quotation, and agrees to abide by all payment terms and the conditions outlined above and has read and understood the term of the warranty.

Order changes and cancellations must be made in writing within 24 hours of placing orders. A $50 fee may be charged to cover costs.

 

Action Blinds reserve the right to retrieve all products supplied if the invoice/account is not paid in full or is overdue and recover from the  purchaser, all costs incurred in the collection of overdue accounts.

Colour and fabric: The colours and fabric that we quote are only a recommendation. The final choice belongs to the owner. It is the owner’s responsibility to check with Body Corporate for colour regulations where applicable.

There may be some variation in the colour and texture between physical and electronic due to lighting and computer screen qualities.

Warranty : 10 year warranty on Texstyles Fabric – (Focus and Kleenscreen) - 5 year warranty on Acmeda Rollease Products - 12 months on all other fabrics and blind component parts, & 3 months on the alignment of the fabric sold & installed by Action Blinds. All warranties will be given from the date of invoice. (Terms & conditions apply). Any misuse of blinds causing breakages or faults will not be covered under the warranty, a service fee will apply. (No transfer of warranty if there is a change of ownership).

 

Proper care of your blinds is very important. There are certain things that are considered mistreatment of the blinds and will not          be covered under warranty.

These include:

*  Putting objects against the blind.- (Never lean objects against the blind or push furniture against the blind. This can damage or stretch the fabric or  affect  the rolling of the blind.)

*  Touching or pulling the fabric with your hands.- (This will damage the blind and is not covered by warranty).

*  Rolling the blind, all the way down to touch or sit on the floor.- (There are some instances where the chain must be short to comply with child safety laws. In these cases a ball stop cannot be installed, and the operator must make the judgement of when to stop rolling the blind so it doesn't touch the floor. Once the blind is 10mm from the floor, do not continue to roll the blind. This can cause creases and other damage and may require the replacement of the blind. Overwinding may cause the fabric to roll off the tube).

*  Rolling blinds up or down while having the window or door open.- (This will cause the blind to move in the wind and damage the blind or cause it to roll off and fray. Make sure that the blind is raised when the window or door is closed).

 * Extreme force when operating the chain. - (Only a gentle, consistent pull is needed to operate the blind and too much force can cause the chain to break. Make sure there is nothing against the blind stopping it from rolling freely).

*  Hanging objects from the blind, falling objects, vandalism, burns, animal soiling, modifications, neglect, or any accidental or improper use.

 

Fabric Handling and Care:

  All types of chemicals can cause permanent damage to your fabrics. Therefore, if cleaning windows etc… the blinds will need to be raised to avoid spray or splatter from chemicals on the fabric.

Routine Cleaning:

  Regular light dusting with a feather duster is recommended. Vigorous vacuuming is not recommended as it may distort the fabric.

Spot Cleaning

  When needed, the fabric can be spot-cleaned by gently blotting with soapy water on a damp cloth. Be careful not to apply too much force to the fabric as you can rub off the coating – Do not crease the fabric.

 

 Action Blinds, recommend using a professional blind cleaning company to clean your product.

These instructions are to be used as a guide only and Action Blinds will take no responsibility in the outcome of the cleaning method.
